September 14, 2008 Hello!
The last thing I ever
wanted was to admit on the internet that I am overweight. I
started gaining weight in my early 20's. I have severe nerve damaged
feet, because of this I am not able to run, jump, even tiptoe. My life has been
reduced to a walking pace for the last many years. And I also work from home, I spend
many hours in my home office. I hadn't realized I had creeped up
to whopping 186 lbs. I just figured that people were taking bad pictures of me
(of course I blamed the camera! LOL).
On my quest to learn how to lose weight and keep it
off, Jess and I went to a nutritionist one day (Jess also needs to lose
weight, I can only hope to help support her in a 100 lb loss, she is
also taking FORM and FIXX). The nutritionist
told us the portions we are really supposed to be eating... hello!
Reality check! Meat portions no larger then your 4 fingers and no
thicker? That isn't the size of steak I order when I went to a
restaurant! :) Today's super-sized portions at McDonald's, etc,
just tell us we are WAY over-eating!
ForeverGreen recently
launched their new product line of O3World - Form and Fixx..
after reading the reports and hearing most people don't have to change
what their eating habits are, I was really excited to try this one. (Yes, I love Mexican, Chinese, Italian dishes... I
also am a good cook I don't want to sacrifice good food for dieting).
I have tried other diets like Jenny Craig, but the food was sooo loaded with preservatives and MSG that I could only eat the frozen
foods. Since I could only eat the frozen foods, my choices were
extremely limited and at one point I said
enough! Why do I have to sacrifice my favorite foods to diet?
You don't, but you do have to eat in moderation. I even tried the
Atkins diet (finally one day I swear I ate every carb I could get my
hand on, so much for that diet!)
With FORM and FIXX you can still eat what you love! Like
I love Taco Bell... With FORM I can order 1 taco and feel just as full
as I did eating 2 tacos.
With Form and Fixx I don't have to change what I am
eating? I bought my scale 1 week ago
(you know the one that tells me to the .1 lb weight... I haven't had a
scale in the house for years but I am determined this time) and I lost 4 lbs this
past week (after all I cannot tell you to buy and try a product if it
doesn't work for me!).
I did that by 1 Fixx a day and 1 or 2 Form's a day (depending on how
hungry was).
So what did I do? Well I bought a few more
fruits and vegetables at the store. Bought baked chips instead of
the regular. And remember I love mexican sooo all
I did so far was buy light sour cream and I rinse my hamburger with
water after I cooked it to drain
the fat off before I seasoned the meat. I didn't have to quit my pepsi
(note, pop/soda does hold onto fat weight and makes it very difficult to
lose weight effectively and don't fall for the "I am drinking diet, it's
only 1 calorie", Diet pop actually makes you thirstier, you end up
consuming more and it does not help you lose weight... I did cut back to
1-2 cans a day of regular Pepsi), but I forced myself
to drink 1 less can a day (it's a start)! I dusted off my tread
mill (because I know I am terribly out of shape from my office job) and
been walking briskly for about 15 minutes going no less then 1/2 mile. Soo, wow, no I really
haven't changed that much in my habits but I still lost weight because
the FORM helps me feel full.
So now you know me. My goal is to
lose 40 lbs by the next ForeverGreen Convention in April 09. A friend told me every 10 lbs is
approximately 1 dress size. I am a size 18 today, I would be happy
at size 12 (definitely a healthier me!). No one says you have to
be under a size 7 (except maybe the TV advertisements... Oh that reminds me of the Nutri-System commercial and
a woman claiming "look at me I am a size 2!"
BULL! No she isn't, more like a size 7 (maybe a size 5)), and
being a size 2 is
NOT necessarily healthy either! I think the BEST spoke's model for
weight loss is Queen Latifah on the Jenny Craig commercials telling
people she just wants to be a healthier person.
FORM is not a magic pill by no
means! But it's not a gimmick either. I was at the
grocery store the other day in the checkout isle reading covers of mags
telling me I can lose 14 lbs in 2 weeks... sure you can, but it is almost
all water weight, you are not really losing weight. Water weight
comes and goes. If you truly want to lose fat weight and keep it off
you must do it properly, please don't fall for the gimmicks.
Once you
lose the weight to your goal, you must maintain that weight for a WHOLE
YEAR! Yes, that is 12 months, because your brain thinks you are
supposed to be the heavier weight and it will try and gain it back as
soon as it can (thus all the yo-yo dieting), (just a "rule of thumb" so
to speak, I was once told that for every 1 year you are overweight, it
will take 1 month to take it off, so if you have been overweight for the
last 10 years, expect it to take 10 months for it to stay off)... you have to "re-program"
your brain to the lighter weight. Stop the yo-yo... FORM will
consistently help you eat smaller portions for that whole year! FIXX will provide your body much needed organic nutrition. And if
you haven't been able to lose any weight, then have you ever tested your
pH? Did you know that an acidic body will prevent you from losing
weight? Most American's have an acidic body. Read more
information about this at my other website

October 4, 2008
Well I apologize for not keeping up on my little
section here on my progress. I have now lost 10 lbs with FORM and
FIXX! I should have lost more, but I slacked for a week. I
have no excuses, just was busy and forgot to take my FORM with while I
went visiting family. I just tried to eat smaller portions so
thankfully I didn't gain weight during that period, just didn't lose any
that week. UGGGHHH.
TIP: DO NOT drink more liquid then recommended
before your meal, once you begin your meal don't drink right away, eat
food first then drink. Too much liquid before the meal could
dilute the results. I also do know that taking 3 FORM at one time
will not harm you. If you are a heavier person that has a hard
time feeling full. Always start with 1, get the feel, then go to
2, if that isn't enough, go to 3... but listen to your body, you will
know when you have enough, too little or too much.
I have GREAT information coming soon on FIBE!
And how it is extremely beneficial to women in particular! Will
keep you posted.
October 24, 2008 I switched to
FIBE (had to see if it worked!)... love the product, yes it does work.
For me it seems to have a longer lasting effect. Getting me thru
some snacky hours. I, too, like a classic dieter... took a week
off my diet because I was out of town and my excuse was eating out, so I
didn't take my FIBE or FORM. I took about 10 days off from walking
the tread mill as well. But I want you to know, though I have
slacked on my diet I have NOT gained any weight back (lucky for me!).
I want to make a point right now and that is every day that I take FORM
or FIBE, I lose between .1 to .5 lb per day, every day! There has
only been a handful of days that I did not lose any weight for the day.
The bad thing is I haven't been measuring my waist (so I
don't know how many inches I have lost... I know its a couple, I can
tell how my clothes are fitting). I have been for the most part
going 1/4 to 1/2 mile on the tread mill. I have
a good friend that is 100 lbs over weight. She has been taking
FORM and FIBE with way better results than taking one or the other.
She has lost 10 lbs. With the combo, FORM works fast for that
mealtime, while FIBE has a longer lasting effect for afterwards.
So many people ask why the packages sell with FIXX as
well. ForeverGreen is a company that believes in whole health.
With losing weight, it isn't all that healthy to just drop the weight,
our bodies are needing nutrition. Also after taking FIXX for a
couple of days, you will find that you are less snacky, your body is
much more satisified and not looking for more nutrition.
